Spring String Thing 2025

Spring String Thing is an annual string camp hosted at JMU, where middle and high school string musicians can hone their musical skills.

In 2025, Mikayla’s piece “When the Moon Met the Sea” premiered at this event after it won JMU’s New Music for Orchestra competition. You can watch the recording here!
